Stadium of the Future

Model designed and fabricated for Populous while at Crab Studio, speculating on the future of the stadium. Adaptable fields of play, woven into the city are sheltered below a canopy of responsive drones that move in relation to sun patterns and weather. Seating pods can be floated into position as the entire landscape hovers over the city. The model was exhibited at the Soane Museum as part of the Stadia: Sport and Vision exhibition.
