Bureaucratic Thaw at the United Nations

The project's assertion is that the modernist patina of the United Nations headquarters in New York would by its very nature ensure its stasis rather than evolution into a changing post war world, terming it the “future frozen in the form of the present”. My investigations take the anachronistic positivity of the UN building and peel away at it, drawing through moments in the organisation's history, places and architectural intersections, and through the daily machinations of the bureaucratic malaise, I sought to reveal a new propositional order behind the space.
